FORT WORTH, TX -- RadioShack Corp. said Wednesday that svp and cfo Michael Newman, 47, will resign July 23, according to an Associated Press report.
The company said Newman resigned to pursue a position as cfo of private equity and advisory firm Blackstone Crystal Holdings
Capital Partners.
The company said 32-year RadioShack veteran David Johnson, 51, will replace Newman as interim cfo. Johnson serves as the company's svp-corporate controller.
RadioShack said it has started a search for Newman's permanent replacement.
