Heather Miller has been named director of retail sales and promotions for Sony Pictures Consumer Products. It was announced by Juli Boylan, svp, domestic sales and retail development, Sony Pictures Consumer Products, to whom Miller will report.
In this new position,
Miller will be responsible for managing retail efforts for Sony Pictures Consumer Products, including key theatrical properties
Spider-Man, Stuart Little 2, Men in Black II and
Charlie's Angels 2, along with key TV properties
Jackie Chan Adventures and
Harold and The Purple Crayon. She will also be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and promotional programs at retail to support Sony Pictures Consumer Products' properties.

Miller, whose appointment is effective immediately, joins Sony Pictures Consumer Products after holding the senior marketing manager of brand marketing position at Visa USA. During her tenure, Miller was responsible for the development and execution of national promotions and sponsorship marketing programs. She was also a key player in the successful 4th quarter 1999 promotion "Visa Magic Moments" and Visa' s 2000 holiday tie-in with Universal's
Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!Miller lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
