The United States' largest general and variety merchandise trade show will return to Las Vegas August 12-16, 2001. Produced by VNU Expositions, a division of Retail Merchandiser parent, VNU Inc., the ASD/AMD Las Vegas Trade Show showcases tens of thousands of unique products in the fastest-moving product
categories. The show runs in conjunction with the Las Vegas Gift Expo, and offers buyers an unprecedented chance to purchase product across all lines and price points, ranging from fine jewelry to closeout and dollar store items.
With exhibitors and buyers arriving from around the world to attend this 7,300-plus-booth event, it is no wonder that this show has become one of the most important events in the merchandise-buying calendar. Conducted over four venues--the Sands Expo Center, Las Vegas Hilton, Las Vegas Convention Center and the Mirage--sheer size alone dictates that the estimated 65,000 attendees spend several days at the various sites.
This summer also marks the return of the Asian Suppliers Pavilion, which houses direct importers and manufacturers selling products at larger volume, such as container loads.
