Practical pieces.(LETTERS)(Letter to the editor)

Thank you for publishing Sandy Meyers' 'Role of the Social Worker in Old versus New Culture in Nursing Homes" (July 2006). It is among the more interesting and useful pieces that have appeared in the journal in a couple of years. There should be many more contributions reflecting on practice, and at least some of them should be articles, should be longer, should draw on theory, and should appear toward the front of the journal.
