Law Firms, Bank, Developer Team Up to Buy Building in Tulsa, Okla.

Jul. 4--Several law firms, a bank and a real estate developer have teamed up to buy the former Mapco Building, a 10-story structure just south of downtown.

The group of buyers, Veterans Park Tower LLC, purchased the building at 1800 S. Baltimore Ave. on Thursday for $1.5 million. The sale includes the high-rise and two smaller buildings on about four acres, said one of the investors, Ed Kallay of the Kallay Group.
