Port Washington-based Cedar Shopping Centers Inc. paid $117 million for a six-property shopping center portfolio, including Carman's Plaza in Massapequa.

Pennsylvania-based WP Realty sold the centers, located in four states with a total of approximately 870,000 square feet.

Carman's represents Cedar's first shopping center on Long Island. The 195,000 square-foot center includes tenants like Pathmark, Best Fitness, Duane Reade and a New York State department of motor vehicles office.

Two of the properties are in Massachusetts and the others are in Maryland, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
