Plug Power Opens PEM Plant.(Brief Article)

Plug Power, Inc. (968 Albany-Shaker Rd., Latham, NY 12110; Tel: 518/782-7700, Fax: 518/782-7914) has opened its 50,000 sq.-ft. manufacturing plant to begin beta-unit production of PEM fuel cell systems for field testing later this year, and commercial sales beginning in 2001. At 50,000 sq. ft., the space will nearly double the size of Plug Power's current plant space.
