TAMPA, Fla. -- Donald J. Trump and SimDag the development partnership for Trump Tower Tampa, announced today that Turner Construction Company has been hired as the general contractor for the 52-story, ultra-luxury downtown condominium.

The $270-million development will be built on a 1.5-acre site at 111 South Ashley Drive along the Hillsborough River in the heart of Tampa's financial and cultural districts. The building will feature 190 condominium and penthouse residences ranging from 1,991 square feet to 6,150 square feet and priced from $700,000 to over $6.5 million.

"Turner has been involved for some time now on this project as the building's foundation and seawall shoring work is being performed," added Bob Lyons, a SimDag partner. "The new seawall will be completed in mid January and the deep foundation work will begin immediately thereafter. Trump Tower Tampa will be built over the following 33-month period."
