Historic Hotel in Key West, Fla., Sells for $7 Million.

May 10--One of the most luxurious and upscale hotels in Key West has been sold.

The historic The Gardens Hotel at 526 Angela St. has been purchased for $7 million by Kate Miano, who also owns Ambrosia House Tropical Lodging and Ambrosia Too.

The Gardens Hotel was developed by Bill and Corinna Hettinger, who opened it in 1993, restoring and refurbishing the original house that had been built in the 1870s. According to Miano, the likes of George Clooney, Che
