Struggling Montgomery, Ala., Mall Loses Eatery.

Mar. 5--As community leaders and residents of Montgomery Mall area rally to support the struggling shopping center, Piccadilly Cafeteria has joined a growing list of merchants who have chosen to close or move out of the mall.

Azam Malik, president and chief operating officer for Piccadilly Cafeterias Inc., confirmed Thursday that the company intends to close its Montgomery Mall location within a week. Another Piccadilly Cafeteria at Eastdale Mall closed earlier this year.
