In sports it is called a 3-PEAT or a Hat Trick. In commercial real estate it means being named the best in customer service three years running.
Liberty Property Trust (NYSE:LRY) has received top honors in the National Commercial Real Estate Customer Service Awards Program - for the third time in as many years. The program seeks to identify and recognize those companies achieving the highest levels of customer service in commercial real estate.
Independent research consulting firm CEL & Associates and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) co-sponsor the annual performance evaluation. Data for the program is gathered through a survey of more than one million tenants nationwide.
"Winning this award for a third time validates our commitment to continuously improve upon our customer relationships," said Laurie Brown, Senior Vice President of Property Management, Liberty Property Trust. "The data from the survey gives us a roadmap for customer service. Each year we scour the results to see where we can improve, and then we work very hard on those areas. Our focus on building relationships with our customers and striving to provide services they value has proven the key to increasing both earnings and tenant loyalty."
This year Liberty, which has 18 region offices around the country, received a combined score of 90% in overall customer satisfaction - the highest in its category. (Liberty competes in Category One, which includes the nation's largest real estate firms.) The score represents about a 3% increase over its 2002 scores. Liberty also received "A List" awards for more than half of its 600 buildings for superior customer service at individual properties.
