Mar. 7--These are a few of the plans Rouse Co., one of the country's oldest developers, has for 9,000 acres of former rice fields in northwest Houston to be dubbed "Bridgelands."
Company officials plan to unveil the name and more details Tuesday to investors in town to tour the property.
The Rouse Co. is best known for pioneering the modern master-planned community with the establishment of Columbia, Md., a community that developers across the nation look to as a model.
