New Owners of Downtown Columbus, Ohio, Office Building May Pursue Hotel.

Feb. 6--The largest Downtown building redevelopment in two years could bring a hotel to E. Gay Street.

The Buckeye Building, once headquarters of Buckeye Federal Savings and Loan, was sold to Pennsylvania investors last week.

The sale raises the expectation that the 16-story office building, hailed for its style when it opened in 1927, will be renovated.
