Washington's National Press Club was the scene of Global Finance's

fifth annual Best Banks Award Ceremony. The event took place at the end of September during the annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank.

Global Finance editor Mark Johnson presented awards for best global bank, best regional banks and best country banks, best trade finance banks, best F/X banks, best project finance banks and safest banks. CEOs and other top executives of over 100 banks were on hand to collect their awards.
