This conference, chaired by the Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO) and the U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM), will build upon the successes of previous conferences and continue increasing the awareness of personnel recovery requirements. The objective is to stimulate an exchange of ideas that will frame the Department of Defense (DoD) strategy for personnel recovery. Conference participants will examine personnel recovery issues, discuss their current status, and find solutions for those requiring resolution at the DoD, Service or Combatant Command level.
