E-Duction Inc. and Workstream Inc. have created a partnership that allows employers to provide a new low-cost work/life benefit to their workforces. This new benefit allows employees to buy name-brand products and pay for them through a payroll deduction plan. Under the partnership, the Workstream

Xylo system will offer E-Duction's Clear program to all of its partner companies, which include large employers such as Hewlett-Packard, Eddie Bauer and Charles Schwab. Employees who open a Clear account will be able to go online through the Xylo system, purchase products at significant discounts, and then pay for their purchases through a payroll deduction plan. Purchases made through E-Duction's Clear system are paid over a twomonth period in equal installments and are drawn from the employees' paychecks. Employees also will be able to use their Clear accounts at the more than 29 million locations that currently accept MasterCard.
