V-Maxx 8500 bulk spreader's heavy-duty polyethylene hopper with 2-cu.-yd. capacity converts flat-bed trucks, dump beds, and pickups with 8-ft. or larger beds into versatile, all-season work fleets. Boasting 40% lighter weight than steel V-box alternatives, spreader's 0.375-mm.-thick wall hopper can be quickly installed or removed to match changing seasonal work requirements or for off-season storage. High-torque, 12-v. electric drive produces 1,800 in./lbs. of torque at auger transmission output shaft. Electric drive system is weather sealed. Cab-mounted, independent spinner/auger controller monitors spinner speed and provides infinitely adjustable ratio between spinner and auger. Variable spread width adjusts between 5 ft. and 40 ft.
