COVER ITEM: Powerful grinders quickly slice tree stumps into wood chips

Select from G52SP (pictured) or D52SP stump grinders. Each model offers a top speed of 3.2 m.p.h. Boasts hexagon-shaped cutter wheel that reduces resistance and friction when penetrating stump. To grind stumps quickly, built-in boom creates 52-in. cutting arc (25% wider than conventional stump grinders).

Also equipped with 6 multiple-tipped cutting tools, fastened with 1 bolt each, which provide the grinding power of 24 teeth. Each machine holds up to 8 cu. ft. of wood chips. Large capacity enables continuous grinding, with less repositioning at work sites. Operator's control station, complete with hydraulic levers, ensures optimum visibility of grinding wheel. Hydraulic valves and articulating front axle enhance steering on wet turf, loose gravel, or uneven terrain. In addition, stationary engine creates low center of gravity to improve stability. By removing 2 outer wheels, grinder can fit through standard 36-in.-wide gates for transport. Options include wireless or wired remote controls. Hydraulic backfill blade available.
