- The Civil Service Pension Scheme is to offer stakeholder schemes from Prudential, Standard Life, and AMP NPI as three of a panel of four providers for new entrants to the Civil Service.

- The Swedish Match final salary pension scheme has appointed Michael Kirk & Partners as administrators and consultants. The scheme was previously administered by Mercer HR.

- The Scottish Executive has announced that an additional GBP8m has been retained by the Scottish Transport Group pension fund surplus, taking the total sum of surplus funds for distribution to GBP126m.
