In this newly created position, Matson will be responsible for leading the creation and development of Reciprocal's consulting operations, as well as managing the company's growing business opportunities in new vertical industries, with a focus on financial and health services.
Matson's career spans nearly 20 years associated with the management of technology in financial, health and information services industries. His most recent position was Senior Partner, Korn/Ferry Global Financial Services, where he also co-headed the firm's Insurance Practice.
Reciprocal President and CEO John Schwarz announced the appointment.

Prior to his role at Korn/Ferry International, Matson was the Client Solutions Executive/Operations Executive for IBM Global Services -- Worldwide Healthcare and Insurance Industries. He also served in a previous role as the Managing Director -- Worldwide Services and Corporate CIO for TSS, the high technology services joint venture of IBM and Eastman Kodak.
Previously, he was President and Managing Partner of Fantus Consulting, the international management-consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. and now part of Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Matson is also a former senior member of Booz-Allen & Hamilton's marketing intensive and information technology practices. Matson began his career with A.C. Nielsen's Marketing & Media Research companies and the CIGNA Corporation in both technology and functional business roles.
Matson is presently a doctoral fellow at George Washington University. He has earned a MBA from Monmouth University and has completed post-graduate studies at the University of Chicago and Harvard Graduate School of Business. He received his BA in economics from Drew University and studied international economics at the London School of Economics. Additionally, he was an adjunct faculty member of the Johns Hopkins Graduate School of Business and a contributing editor at Industry Week magazine.
