McCulloch's public accounting background spans 20 years, starting with KPMG Peat Marwick, and later with PricewaterhouseCoopers and then Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where he served more than 15 years as an Audit Partner.

In the corporate world, he was for five years Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Armor All Products Corp. He then became Chief Operating officer of Santa Fe Ventures, a high technology venture firm. McCulloch's other corporate tenures have included: Chief Financial Officer with Global Diamond Resources Inc., Executive Vice President & Group Chief Financial Officer at Fairlight Inc., and Chief Financial Officer of Genetronics Biomedical Corp. He has served the last several years as a senior financial consultant to both public and private companies.

McCulloch received his Certificate in Theory of Accounting at the University of South Africa, attended the University of Witwatersrand Graduate Business School Executive Development Program, was named a Sells Award Winner in CPA Uniform Examination, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
