& Young is the second-largest public accounting firm in the world and the largest in Indiana. It also has the largest health care practice in Indiana.

Through Ernst & Young, Baldwin started the financially focused Health Care Advisory Services practice in the mid-1990s. The firm's Indiana health care advisory practice now has more than 30 personnel and is growing rapidly.

Baldwin also has played a key role in developing some unique products for the health care industry that are expected to generate more than $1 billion in revenue for the health care providers he has served. For example, he led a team that developed a product that identified data absences in providers. The product increased ultimate payment from Medicare and other programs.
