World Future Society chapters.

Futurists are concerned about the world as a whole, but effective action to achieve a better future often takes place in one's local area. Local WFS chapters enable forward-thinking people in a community to get to know each other, share ideas, and work together to educate the public about future

possibilities.

Many of these chapters sponsor seminars and lectures, take field trips, publish newsletters, hold discussion groups, and plan other stimulating activities.

Here are the currently active WFS chapters and coordinators around the world, with contact information. If you do not see a chapter in your area and would like information about forming one, contact Susan Echard at 301-656-8274 or sechard@wfs.org, or visit www.wfs.org/chapnew.htm.
