Brookhaven National Laboratory sponsors scholarship for women in science
Brookhaven National Laboratory's Brookhaven Women in Science is accepting applications for the Renate W. Chasman Scholarship for Women. Deadline for applications is April 2.
The $2,000 scholarship is designed to encourage women who have taken a break from formal education to resume their
Candidates must be U.S. citizens who live in Nassau or Suffolk counties, or in the boroughs of Brooklyn or Queens. The scholarship must be used for a degree-oriented program at an accredited institution; the winner's 2007-08 program of study must be at the junior/senior undergraduate level or first-year graduate level. Students must attend school on at least a half-time basis.
