Investors get ethical

According to research undertaken last month, an increasing number of people are choosing their investments to reflect their ethical beliefs. The research revealed that investments in ethical funds have increased more than 80% over the last year, an impressive figure when viewed against growth of just

seven per cent across the broader managed funds market.

The research, undertaken by financial planning advisers Partnership Planning, showed that this growth has coincided with the launch of a number of new ethical products, and is not restricted to 'boutique' funds but is also becoming the domain of mainstream fund managers.
