Marty is the founder of E. Martin Davidoff & Associates Certified Public Accountants in Dayton, New Jersey. Dayton is located approximately half-way between Philadelphia and New York, at exit 8A on the NJ Turnpike. He is licensed as an attorney and CPA to practice in New York and New Jersey.

Marty was born in Suffern, New York. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management in 1974, an MBA with honors from Boston University in 1975 and a J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri in 1978.

Prior to establishing the firm of E. Martin Davidoff & Associates, Certified Public Accountants, on December 1, 1981, Marty began his career at Richard A. Eisner & Company CPAs in New York City. After two years working as a Tax Senior at Eisner, he joined the firm of Leonard C. Green & Company of Woodbridge, New Jersey as a Tax Manager.

Marty was appointed by New Jersey Governor Christie Whitman to the 1995 White House Conference on Small Business and was elected as a delegate to the 1986 Conference. He served as the New Jersey delegation's Tax Issues Co-Chair and Treasurer for both conferences. Marty serves on the Leadership Council for the New Jersey chapter of the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), having been a member of NFIB for well over a decade. He was an officer of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants from 1988-1995, serving as both a state and local officer.

Marty resides in East Brunswick, New Jersey with his wife Sheila Temkin Davidoff. Sheila manages M. Temkin Store Fixtures in Trenton, New Jersey. They have two daughters, Sherri and Laura. Sherri is a recent graduate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and now resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Laura, a senior at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, is studying economics and environmental sciences.

The Davidoffs are very active in their community. Marty coached East Brunswick Girl's Soccer for many years and chairs the Milltown Jaycees Annual Shopping Spree during the holiday season. He is active in the Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation (HOBY) and the East Brunswick Jewish Center Men's Club. He raised over $15,000 for the East Brunswick Rescue Squad as Chairman of an event in 2000 and is an Executive Committee member for the Accounting & Financial Services Division of the State of Israel Bonds. Marty recently chaired a food drive for the South Brunswick Township Food Pantry, which collected over 4,000 pounds of food for the needy. Sheila serves on the Board of Directors for the East Brunswick Jewish Center Sisterhood where her responsibilities include running the Annual Hanukkah Boutique.

Among the honors he has received are the 1998/1999 New Jersey Society of CPAs Distinguished Service Award for his dedicated service and commitment to the Society; the Small Business Administration 1997 Accountant Advocate of the Year for New Jersey and Region II (New York, New Jersey, Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico); and the 1998 Nicholas Maul Leadership Award from the Southern Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce. Marty also appears in several editions of "Who's Who in the East" and "Who's Who in American Law."

When Marty is not working or volunteering his time, he enjoys traveling, playing basketball, monthly poker night with friends, and discussing politics. He also likes to watch baseball games, including the New York Yankees and the minor league Trenton Thunder team, and going to the movies each week with Sheila. Marty tries to live his life by one of his favorite sayings, "Nothing is Impossible!"

Marty's work with the AAA-CPA is only possible with the help of his capable staff. He is thankful to Amy, Robbin, Dana, Ali, and Natalie, who have been critical to his success.

Marty believes that the leadership of the AAA-CPA should focus on growing the association. "Once people attend an annual meeting, they are hooked! All we have to do is let people know about us and give them a taste of what they can experience."
