WHAT: Are hosting a reception for two of the League's hallmark
publications, The State of Black America and Opportunity Journal.

This year's edition, titled, The State of Black America 2000:
Blacks in the New Millennium, is a collection of 14 essays that
expound on African Americans' place in, among other areas,
politics, academic achievement, technology, business and
economics.
Published quarterly, Opportunity Journal is the official
publication of the National Urban League. Each issue features
information about the Urban League movement, and reports on issues
of interest to the African American community and the nation at
large.
