You Go Girl: Forbes Counts 99 Women Billionares in 2008

 Okay, so it's only 9% of the world's over 1,000 billionares, but doesn't it make you proud to see that almost 100 women fall into the billionaress category? I'm not one of those, but I sure do feel prideful for all that they have accomplished.

Out of the 99, only 10 are actually self made, including Oprah, who has accrued an estimated $2.5 billion dollars in personal fortune.

I love to see among these women J.K. Rowling, the once-destitute now-billionare author, whose claim to fame Harry Potter has made this mom wealthy beyond belief. Doesn't it make you feel like we could all do it?
