NEW YORK -- Easton Capital Investment Group, a New York-based venture capital firm, today announced that Dr. Hans Mueller has joined its Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Mueller has more than 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having managed and led several hundred major transactions
over the span of his distinguished career. Until 2004, Dr. Mueller was the Senior Vice President of Global Business Development at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Currently, Dr. Mueller provides consulting services for HM Consulting and three additional VC-funded health care companies.John H. As Senior Vice President at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Mueller was responsible for worldwide licensing, partnerships, collaborations and divestitures and served on several key management committees. Prior to joining Wyeth, he was president and a member of the Board of Directors of Nova Pharmaceuticals, a company he helped transform from a small research boutique to a multi-million dollar enterprise. Previously, Dr. Mueller held a series of positions at Sandoz Ltd. and Sandoz Inc. in research, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, systems development, new product planning, licensing and business development.
Dr. Mueller is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program and holds a Ph.D. in Actuarial Sciences and Mathematical Statistics with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Finance and Economy. He has lectured at the University of Bern, Switzerland. Dr. Mueller is a board member of an American Stock Exchange-traded company and three VC-funded health care companies.
