Reuters recently reported that new Energy Information Administration (EIA) data reveals that the number of alternative fuel-powered vehicles in the U.S. is expected to increase from 510,805 last year to 547,904 in 2004.
According to Reuters, this 7.3-percent increase would be a slight drop
Reuters noted that California had the greatest number of alternative fuel vehicles last year, with 77,761, followed by Texas, New York, Oklahoma and Georgia, while Maine had the smallest amount with only 417.
