A regional shipping company can save you money, however, especially if your clientele are mostly local customers. For example, seven-year-old California Overnight charges only $7.75 for an overnight letter delivered within California before 10 a.m. FedEx rates for the same letter start at $11.
Before you entrust your business to a regional shipper, get some references, ask about their service guarantees, and make sure you're getting what you pay for.
