Green Plains Renewable Energy announces commitment for debt financing on ethanol project.

Green Plains Renewable Energy Inc. of Shenandoah, Iowa, recently announced it has received a commitment from Co Bank and Farm Credit Services of America for $51.6 million toward its ethanol plant in Superior, Iowa.

GPRE is currently building two 50 million gallon name-plate ethanol facilities

in Iowa. The first is being built in Shenandoah, Iowa, the other near Superior. Start-up of the plants is expected for mid-2007 for Shenandoah and late 2007 for Superior.

Once both plants are completed, GPRE anticipates it will have approximately 110 million gallons of ethanol production capacity (10% over name-plate). The company intends to expand the production capacity at both of these plants and to build plants at other locations.
