Agri News recently reported that Bernard Bus Service, Inc., together with the Fillmore-Mower Soybean Growers Association, plans to operate three school buses with B20, a fuel blend of 20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent standard petroleum diesel, during a trial period that will span from now
According to the paper, Bernard Bus Service, which operates bus fleets for the school districts of Plainview, Chatfield and Rushford, will compare the fuel efficiency and emissions performance of the B20-powered buses with those operating on standard diesel fuel.
"It's a win-win situation for everybody....for the farmers and the students," said Bernard Bus Service owner Mike Bernard.
