US Airways Group has reported a decrease in its passenger traffic figures for the month of March.

The company said that traffic decreased by almost 11% in March, but this is almost the same as the amount of capacity that it cut last month. The carrier's load factor, which combines the operations of US Airways and America West, increased by 0.6 percentage points to 81%, MarketWatch reported.

US Airways recalled 400 flight attendants in March as a preparation for the peak summer season.
