Gulf Air forms compensation agreement with families of Bahraini passengers killed in 2000 crash.

Gulf Air has reportedly reached an out-of-court compensation settlement with the families of Bahraini passengers killed when flight GF072 crashed in 2000.
A statement issued jointly by the carrier and the committee representing the 27 families of passengers said that "payment of the agreed compensation has been made and those Bahraini families who had commenced court proceedings in Toulouse, France, have agreed to withdraw those proceedings". The value of the agreed compensation has not been disclosed.
The Gulf Air flight was travelling from Cairo, Egypt to Bahrain when it crashed into shallow water near the Gulf kingdom's airport, killing all 143 people on board, reported Reuters.
