AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
United Airlines has added enhancements to its EasyCheck-in self service units to provide customers with more control over their travel plans.
The enhancements to the self service units will allow customers to manage their itinerary in the event of flight irregularities such as cancellations caused by weather, or when travelling with multiple carriers.
The carrier currently has more than 620 self service units in 42 airports around the US, and plans to install them at all of its domestic airports by mid-2004.
