Norwegian low-fare airline Norwegian Air Shuttle (Norwegian) reported on Thursday (10 November) an operating profit of NOK28.7m on operating revenue of NOK1.44bn for the financial period January-September 2005.

Operating profit for the nine-month period improved from the loss of NOK110.5m while operating revenue increased from NOK879.1m, as compared to the corresponding period in 2004.

Operating profit in the quarter July-September 2005 amounted to NOK56.3m on operating revenue of NOK589.9m.
