Sophos warns of British Airways chain letter.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Anti-virus software company Sophos has warned of an e-mail chain letter which is tricking people to forward an e-mail to five or ten people.

The hoax e-mail claims that British Airways and Microsoft were tracking

the e-mail, and for every five people that recipients forward it to, they would receive a free return flight to London from any destination in the world or a flight to any Asian destination from London. Recipients also had the opportunity to fly around the world for free if they forwarded the e-mail to ten people.

Sophos has reported that the e-mail does not contain any malicious content and will not cause any damage, however it is filling up e-mail inboxes.
