Navia Aviation acquisition finalised.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

The acquisition of Norway's Navia Aviation AS has been finalised by Northrop Grumman Corporation of the USA.

The USD35m deal means that Navia Aviation will become a wholly-owned

subsidiary of Northrop Grumman.

Navia Aviation is based in Oslo and is a supplier of instrument landing systems, digital voice switching systems and air traffic control systems for commercial aviation. The company has 200 employees at locations in Oslo, Horten and Remskog.
