AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

LTD

Ryanair has been forced to delay its purchase of buzz from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as a UK regulator has not yet approved the deal.

The Irish low-cost carrier was expected to complete the transaction today (1 April), however the acquisition is yet to receive clearance from the Office of Fair Trading in the UK.

Ryanair does not expect any difficulty in obtaining clearance for the deal, reported Reuters.
