Hamilton Sundstrand's A380 systems ready for production certification and service entry.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Hamilton Sundstrand, a supplier of aerospace and industrial products and a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp (NYSE: UTX), announced on Wednesday (20 June) that the software packages for the Airbus 380's (A380) Air Generation System (AGS) will complete production certification support reviews with airworthiness authorities next month.

This is reportedly in preparation for the aircraft's entry into service later this year with Singapore Airlines.

Also Hamilton Sundstrand's Airbus A380 Cabin Pressure Control System, Ventilation Control System and Avionics Ventilation System are expected to complete final entry-into-service standards in early July 2007.

The company said that its Nord-Micro business in Frankfurt, Germany developed and manufactures the Airbus A380 Cabin Pressure Control System, Ventilation Control System and Avionics Ventilation System. All three systems have achieved type certification.
