The Fairchild Metroliner aircraft that crashed into a hillside in Australia on 7 May had experienced a minor engine problem last month, according to its operating company.

The two pilots and 13 passengers on board were killed in the crash.
The cause of the crash is not yet known, but the voice and flight data recorders have been retrieved.
