TUI to cut 800 UK jobs.
AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
German travel group TUI AG has said that it is to cut 8% of its workforce in the UK in an attempt to streamline its business.
The 800 jobs are set to go from its UK travel companies Thomson and Lunn Poly and charter
A spokesperson for the company said that changes in booking and travelling habits have led to a need to bring in more efficient structures, reports The Associated Press.
