A Boeing 737 belonging to JAT Airways, the national airline of Serbia and Montenegro, skidded off a runway at Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport on Monday (27 September).

The aircraft had just landed in Russia following a flight from Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, when it veered off the runway as it turned towards the taxiing strip. No one on board was hurt.

The 75 passengers were evacuated from the aircraft and taken to the terminal building. Despite rain in the Moscow area on the day, JAT Airways said that it had no problem with the conditions at the airport, reports The Associated Press.
