WestJet Airlines has announced that its temporary nonstop weekend service between Kelowna and Hamilton is now a permanent part of its schedule. The airline operates nonstop service from Hamilton to Kelowna on Saturdays, with a return service on Sundays. Fares start from CAD245.

The former head of French airline Continent Air Paris is planning to launch a new low-cost airline, provisionally named Flyeco. The airline - expected to be operational by the end of the year - is forecasted to offer 13 short-haul routes, including flights between Beauvais and the south-east and south-west of France. Provincial flights and flights to Belgium are also planned, Les Echos reported.
