An Air Astana flight made an emergency landing today (18 June) due to a problem with part of its undercarriage.
The Boeing 757-200 aircraft was being flown by the Kazakhstan airline on the Amsterdam-Atyrau-Almaty route, with 152 people on board. The aircraft managed to land safely in Kazakhstan's western oil hub Atyrau despite failing to open part of its undercarriage.
None of the people on board were injured in the incident, nor did the aircraft sustain any damage, reported Reuters.
