Mark your calendars! Don't miss The North American Commercial Real Estate Congress and The Office Building Show, presented by the Washington, D.C.-based Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Intl. Property professionals from around the world will convene in Anaheim, CA, June 25-28,
This year, BOMA will co-locate its show with Realcomm 2005, an event aimed at technology, business solutions, intelligent buildings, and Internet services to the commercial real estate industry. Realcomm's exposition will be located in space adjoining The Office Building Show; both shows will be open to BOMA and Realcomm attendees. Additionally, the two organizations will offer concurrent educational seminars and conference events to an expected attendance of more than 6,000 professionals.
This year's conference will feature world-renowned speakers, new industry research data, and educational seminars presented by experts on key industry topics. Highlights include:
* The Opening Luncheon featuring Tom Ridge, June 26. Sponsored by Universal Protection Services, the presentation will feature the first Secretary of Homeland Security's insights on his time in government service, as well as building security issues affecting commercial real estate.
* EER Data Announcement, June 26. For over 80 years, BOMA's annual Experience Exchange Report (PER) has been the source for building performance data for the commercial real estate industry. Long considered the industry benchmark, the PER gives the most current, dependable information on market performance.
* The Office Building Show, June 26-28, featuring more than 450 booths from 300 companies. The show is open Sunday, June 26, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Monday and Tuesday, June 27 and 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Solutions Showcase, featuring product demonstrations, gives attendees detailed information on new products and services and allows attendees to follow up with more detailed questions.
* Nearly 50 seminars, roundtables, and issue forums, including The Disaster Experience on June 26, which puts participants in the throes of a real-life emergency situation as it unfolds.
