Presenting the 2000 Award Winners

New Equipment Digest is proud to announce the second annual "Excellence in Innovation" award winners. This prestigious, industry-wide

program honors and recognizes the most unique and innovative products and equipment introduced during the past year. A panel of business press editors served as preliminary judges to choose the finalists from 12 product categories. These categories include assembly & fastening, computers and peripherals, material handling, plant maintenance products, motion control/fluid power, metalworking equipment, electrical & electronics, plant maintenance equipment, instruments & controls, software, safety and environment, and process equipment. Our readers then voted on the finalists that appeared in the July issue of New Equipment Digest. On the following pages you will see a showcase of the winning products and equipment. We thank everyone involved in the competition for their assistance and we look forward to the awards program in 2001.
