HYDRA, from Bodacion Technologies of Barrington, Illinois, is an Internet server that can defeat all known network penetration attacks. It is immune to viruses and resists many common denial-of-service attacks, claims that have been validated by testing done by the U.S. Department of Defense's Security
The HYDRA is designed as an embedded system, which means that it is a self-contained operating system that does not have the vulnerabilities of UNIX, Linux and Windows servers. Essentially, there are no external processes that would provide an opening for a successful attack. This also makes it relatively easy to install and administer. HYDRA can be used to augment a current system, as well.
In addition, security is further enhanced through the use of advanced equations involving biomorphic mathematics. These numbers are used to hide the complexity of creating secure session IDs and TCP sequences that hackers frequently use to get into a system. In effect, these numbers are so complex that they are impossible to guess or predict, making password protection, cryptography and session protection stronger.
Internet Financial Services (IFS), a global financial services monitoring company, has used HYDRA in its efforts to help banks comply with international banking regulations that require them to identify and document the identity of their customers to prevent illegal transactions. In order to keep this information secure, IFS turned to Bodacion's HYDRA server. During the past year, HYDRA lived up to its claims of invulnerability by successfully defending more than 900,000 hacking attempts.
