Yahoo! Store Owners Get New Features Just In Time For The Holidays

Sunday, October 28 2007

One of the more popular platforms for online ecommerce is the well known Yahoo! Store. Praised for its ease of use and functionality, it's a platform you'll hear plenty about if you start researching your own online store.

Plenty of small business owners are quietly making a good income with their online store. To help them be even more successful, Yahoo! will soon be implementing additional enhancements to the online store software. Here's a sneak peek.

  • Improving the cross sell engine -- Any small business owner knows that cross selling and upselling are two keys to good cash flow. This enhancement will provide automatic recommendations to the store customer to help them find more of what they're looking for. Think "Amazon-like" features here. This is sure to help online store owners make more money.
  • New keyword tool -- Knowing what keywords are converting to sales is critical to every small business owner's success. This new tool will help store owners determine what keywords are converting to sales and identify what keywords are leading to what products.

Sounds like Yahoo! has hit the target with these enhanced features. For more information on Yahoo! store tips and techniques, hop on over and take a look at the Yahoo! Store Blog. Find out more about how you can set up your own Yahoo! Store online here.
